What it is:
100% pure beeswax tea lights. Ivory colour.
The tea lights have a plant fiber wick. The tea lights are in an acrylic cup instead of a tin cup to keep them cool to the touch and to further extend the burn time to allow you to use the entire candle right down to the base.
Each pack contains ten tea lights, each with a burn time of 4 – 6 hours.
Why you need it:
Most candles contain some percentage of paraffin wax, a petroleum bi-product that requires other chemicals to harden, colour, and scent it. Irritating chemicals and toxins are released as you burn them, such as benzene, acrolyn, lead, and stearic acid. The wicks often have a lead core.
Even candles made from vegetable based materials like soy contain synthetic colour and fragrances and have a much less spectacular burn.
How you use it:
Wicks should be maintained at ¼ inch for maximum burn time. All candles fit in standard size holders.
